Classification of handmade soap

There are several categories of handmade soaps:

1. Cold Process Soap/CP (Cold Process) Soap: This is the kind that Jennifer loves to play with now. It is a method of maintaining the saponification of the oil below 60 degrees Celsius as much as possible, which can retain the nutrients in the oil without loss; however, , the production time is long (hours or even days if you stir it by hand), and the waiting time is also long, but the long wait is definitely worth it.

2. Hot process/HP (Hot process) Soap: It uses high temperature to quickly saponify the oil. The advantage is that the production time is short (about two hours), but the nutrients in the oil are easily lost in the high temperature. -- But it can still be decomposed when it flows into the water!

3. Grinding soap or reprocessed soap/RS Soap: The cold process soap is shredded into filaments, heated and melted into a paste, and milk, essential oils or other additives can be added, and then re-coagulated into soap. (Usually, failed cold process soaps are remade...)

4. Melt instant soap/MP (Melt&Pour) Soap: soap base made of chemical industry, soap made by adding essential oil or essence, color or other additives after heating and melting. Its advantages are that it is beautiful (transparent), quick, and can be used immediately after setting, but it is almost the same as the general commercial soap.
