Contraindications for the use of essential oils
1. Before using essential oils, you must conduct an essential oil sensitivity test to avoid skin allergies. Essential oil allergy test refers to taking a small amount of diluted essential oil or compound essential oil and applying it to the skin behind the ear or the sensitive skin on the inner side of the arm, and no allergic reaction occurs within 24 hours before using this essential oil.
2. The unilateral essential oil must be diluted before use! Because the concentration of the unilateral essential oil is relatively high, if it is used directly on the skin without dilution, it will cause damage to the skin.
3. Most essential oils are photosensitive, so it is recommended to use essential oils at night. Because using products containing photosensitizing ingredients during the day will make the skin more prone to tanning and even cause skin cancer, it is recommended to use essential oils at night for better results.
4. Some people are naturally allergic to essential oils, so fairies with sensitive skin who are not sure whether they are allergic to essential oils need to be very cautious when using essential oils.
